Airbus A330-200 AEROFLOT Daily Service to Los Angeles

Aeroflot plans to increase frequency service between Moscow, Sheremetyevo and Los Angeles 7 days on  weekly flights start from June 23, on next year 2014. This route will be served by Airbus A330-200 operates in a two class configuration 335 seats, consisting of 34 seats of the business class, 207 in economy class on this route.

Manchester United picks Aeroflot as its official carrier

Manchester United
, UK foot ball club has today announced a five-year partnership with Aeroflot Russian Airlines. Aeroflot will become the Club’s Official Carrier.

As the Official Carrier of Manchester United, Aeroflot will provide the English Premier League champions with strategic advice on travel for the team and club representatives.

Aeroflot is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, has 137 planes and one of the youngest fleets in Europe, with an average age of five to six years and in 2012, the Group provided an outstanding travel experience to its 27.5 million passengers. Each of its luxury aircraft features comfortable seating as well as award-winning on-board menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs. As a member of SkyTeam global airline alliance, Aeroflot and its partners provide services to more than 1000 destinations in 178 countries and offer the shortest route between Europe and Asia, via Moscow.

Aeroflot has received the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 Full Specification

Russian airline, Aeroflot, has received the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 with full specifications on May 31, 2013.

In 2005, Aeroflot and Sukhoi signed a contract to purchase 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft with standard specifications, such as the cabin of the class consists of 98 seats. Later, the airline decided to increase the aircraft specifications, including the arrangement of cabins, cabin equipment, and avionics. Some changes require modifications requested by Aeroflot.

Between the full specifications with lower specs have some differences. Full specs have been equipped with Flight Management System (FMS) that have been upgraded and equipped with weather radar detector function wind direction. In addition, there are many other things that are included in the full specification related to passenger comfort in the cabin.

Some airlines both from Russia and abroad are interested to buy Superjet 100 with lower specifications that have been used by Aeroflot. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) plans to sell 10 aircraft with low specifications for new customers.
