Russian airline, Aeroflot, has received the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 with full specifications on May 31, 2013.
In 2005, Aeroflot and Sukhoi signed a contract to purchase 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft with standard specifications, such as the cabin of the class consists of 98 seats. Later, the airline decided to increase the aircraft specifications, including the arrangement of cabins, cabin equipment, and avionics. Some changes require modifications requested by Aeroflot.
Between the full specifications with lower specs have some differences. Full specs have been equipped with Flight Management System (FMS) that have been upgraded and equipped with weather radar detector function wind direction. In addition, there are many other things that are included in the full specification related to passenger comfort in the cabin.
Some airlines both from Russia and abroad are interested to buy Superjet 100 with lower specifications that have been used by Aeroflot. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) plans to sell 10 aircraft with low specifications for new customers.
