First Boeing 777-300ER Garuda operated to Jeddah Starting July 9


Garuda Indonesia has officially welcomed the newest aircraft in the ranks of their fleet, the Boeing 777-300ER, this plane has First Class service launched on Tuesday (07/02/2013) at Hangar 2 Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia.

On this year, Garuda Indonesia will receive four Boeing 777-300ERs from a total of 10 aircraft's have been ordered. The first aircraft will be used by the company to operate flights from Jakarta to Jeddah starting July 9, 2013. The second aircraft is expected to arrive in July to serve the route Jakarta-Jeddah began in August 2013.

Meanwhile, two more aircraft will be delivered to Garuda Indonesia towards the end of the year. The company will utilize the two aircraft to serve routes flying Sydney-Jakarta-London starting November 2013. The three aircraft will arrive again in 2014 and three subsequent aircraft will be delivered to Garuda in 2015.
