Officially Launches Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner

On the second day of the Paris Air Show on Tuesday (06/18/2013), officially launched the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft, which is the third version of the aircraft fuel-efficient 787 Dreamliner family. The launch was marked by as many as 102 aircraft purchase commitments from five customers in Europe, Asia, and North America, providing a strong foundation for the development and production of the latest Dreamliner.

Customers who commit to buy 787-10 among others, Air Lease Corporation (ALC) with 30 aircraft, GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) as many as 10 aircraft, International Airlines Group (IAG) / British Airways as many as 12 aircraft, Singapore Airlines with 30 aircraft, and United Airlines with 20 aircraft.

Latest aircraft by Boeing 787-10 is claimed capable of flying with a range of 7,000 nautical miles (12,964 km), which could account for 90 percent of the double-aisle plane flown today in operation, with a capacity of 300-330 passengers, depending on the desired configuration customers.

"787-10 Dreamliner will be the most efficient aircraft in the world. This aircraft is more fuel-efficient by 25 percent compared to its class aircraft that flew today and will be saving 10 percent compared to competitors offered a new aircraft in the future, "said President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Ray Conner.
