Jetstar Receive First 787 Dreamliner in late September

Jetstar, low-cost flight by Qantas subsidiary, is scheduled to receive its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner in late September on this year.

Group CEO Bruce Buchanan said Jetstar would be the first airline based in Australia, and the first budget carrier in the world, to fly the Boeing 787 on routes.

Sources from the company said the new aircraft will be operated around November.

Initially operate Boeing 787 Dreamliner on domestic flights, flight route Goald Coast - Cairns before using it on international routes.

Jetstar will receive at least three 787 Dreamliner aircraft on this year, and now still on process of final assembly at Boeing manufacturers, Everett - Washington.
