Doric Lease Corp. Agree to Buy 20 Airbus A380s
Doric Lease Corp signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus for the purchase of 20 A380s superjumbo at the Paris Air Show to-50 at Le Bourget. The agreement was signed today by Mark Lapidus, Chief Executive Officer of Doric Lease Corp and John Leahy, Chief Operating Officer for Airbus Customer.
With this investment, Doric A380 will offer leasing solutions and these aircraft will create more accessible for both new operators and existing A380 operators, to operate this aircraft with a flexible way of leases operating.
Doric has had considerable experience with the A380, as the third largest widebody aircraft lessor in the world in terms of value, and has the greatest asset of a leased A380. Doric has a portfolio with a value of aircraft that managed to reach U.S. $ 6 billion, including 18 A380 aircraft acquired through the scheme of sale-and-leaseback.
