New Boeing 737 Business Jet Version 1 delivered to private customer from US

Boeing announced was delivered the first version of the new Boeing Business Jet (BBJ1) to a private businessman from the US in early March after it went through interior modifications at Jet Tech, located in Spokane, WA. This the second BBJ delivered to customer.

BBJ president, Captain Steve Taylor, said. “Our repeat customers aren’t limited to governments and charter companies, but include private individuals who love the comfort and capability of their BBJ so much, they buy another one,”.

Spesification first version of Boeing Business Jet / BBJ1
  • Based on a 737-700 airframe
  • The wings and landing gear spec from the 737-800
  • Capable of going up to 5,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.80.
  • Blended winglets for additional fuel economy (5–7% improvement) as standard (winglets are optional on airliner 737s)
  • Self-contained airstairs for disembarking at airports with limited ground support
  • Additional fuel tanks, for intercontinental range
  • ETOPS-180 certification
